Stress intolerance is a term used to describe difficulty coping with physical, emotional, mental, or environmental stressors. While stress intolerance is not a specific medical diagnosis, it is a recognized symptom pattern that may occur in association with chronic stress, burnout, anxiety disorders, depression, chronic illness, sleep disorders, hormonal imbalances, chronic pain conditions, and other health concerns.
